The Brooklyn Museum has the most amazing exhibit right now. An extensive and jaw-droppingly gorgeous collection of Dior's works. The galleries were filled with so many of Dior's designs. Each more stunning then the next.
The museum curated his works and filled the space in such creative ways. You really got a sense of what makes his designs so iconic and sought after by the fashion elite.

ReplyDeleteI saw that display being put together for traveling around the world by the London Museum UK in a documentary.
ReplyDeleteAnd how the items were chosen & grouped for display.
Also the process of restoration & maintenance by professional seamstresses for each garment. Fascinating!
