I recently learned that down in Chelsea there are tons of art galleries that are free to the public. In the shadow of the Highline between 10th and 11th Avenues in the 25th Street area. You can stroll from block to block popping in and out and seeing the various art collections.
There was a mix of very out there modern art and really breathtaking pieces. My favorites were the beautiful hanging sculpture in the sun-filled atrium at the Pace Gallery and the various door knobs and light switches made from 3D printing lines at the Hill Art Foundation. Highly recommend if you're ever in the area!
Oh wow, these are all so interesting and inspiring, Tamar! I really like the hanging display as well and the 3D printed door knobs and switch plates are super cute! I need more art galleries in my life!
