The Good:
It's chestnut season!! I love getting these from the food carts in the city this time of year, so festive and tasty.
The Random:
I was giving a 2nd grader a quick reading assessment and I had to chuckle at the subject of the passage. Surprisingly, she knew what a payphone was!
The Fun:
Did you know you can go curling in Bryant Park?
I always enjoy seeing your photos around the city. Thank you so much for hosting! Happy Holidays to you and a Very Happy New Year!

ReplyDeleteToo funny about the pay-phone passage. "In the old days . . ." LOL! Someday I will try chestnuts. They look good.
I watched curling with fascination during the Olypmics. Our Australian team did well despite us not being a curling nation.
ReplyDeleteI can’t remember the last time I had roasted chestnuts! It was probably from a cart in the city a lifetime ago! So delicious. That pay phone passage is priceless! I am not sure if my kids know what a pay phone is. They didn’t know what a chalkboard was a few years ago!
