I was in need of a nice walk in the sunshine and along some water and itching to check out the DUMBO flee market so I spend a nice sunny morning in Brooklyn over the weekend. It was the first flee market of the season and there were some awesome vendors with an amazing array of goods in the archway under the bridge -- it was fun to realize just 2 weeks earlier I was running over the bridge in the half!
After exploring the marker I wandered along the East River and through Brooklyn Bridge Park. The views into Manhattan were gorgeous and despite the cold wind, you could feel spring in the air! The park was packed with people too: tourists, locals, runners, and lots of cute dogs!

ReplyDeleteThe best views of lower Manhattan!
ReplyDeleteI love going for a walk when "spring is in the air" and everyone is out. Great pictures, as always.
ReplyDeleteVery cool! Great 'walk' for us!
ReplyDeleteI haven't been to that part of Brooklyn in awhile. I love the flea market!
ReplyDeleteLook at that gorgeous sky!!! I am eager to see that again here, too! (We don't have quite the skyline though...
