We played tourists in our own city while Avi, Noam, and Ronan were here. We did a Circle Boat tour around the island of Manhattan. The boat leaves from midtown, in the Hudson River, and heads down and all the way around: under all the bridges (except the Verrazano) and gives you a great view of Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and South Bronx (sorry, Staten Island...). We lucked out with summer-like weather and a fantastic guide on the boat.
It was so fun to see the city from a different angle and learn more about the city I explore to often! it also made me realize how big Manhattan really is! The whole trip was about 2.5 hours and it was a really nice way to see a lot without having to travel all over!
...thanks for taking me along too!
