We took Noam to the MET on his first full day in NY. We had a nice time exploring the galleries and saw some areas we had never seen before while allowing a 12-year-old to navigate around. It was absolutely stunning outside so many of the galleries were filled with amazing natural sunlight, too.
It was a slight bummer because we missed a few big exhibits that just left a few weeks ago and the famed Egyptian temple was closed as they prepped for a gala that evening, but we still made due and saw tons of art! Afterward, we took Noam around the museum into Central Park to see the Obelisk statue - truly giving him the complete experience!
Beautiful arts on display

ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful museum. I loved it there. I have a special request, if you take those. There is a huge Kusama exhibition coming your way - can you post lots of pics for me if you go pls? I just love her. I think also you'll have some of the pumpkins in the Botanic Gardens....(My FB is taunting me)
