The Good:
I stumbled upon The Sphere in Liberty Park, overlooking the WTC Memorial Park. The Sphere used to sit in a large fountain in the plaza outside the original Twin Towers. It miraculously survived (but was heavily damaged) in the 9/11 attacks and was unearthed in the rubble in the days after the attacks. A few years ago, it was finally brought to the new park to overlook where it once stood and survived. A true sign of NYC rising from the ashes.
The Random:
I can't tell if these are cute...weird...or just...?
I wish you a happy new schoolyear
