Noam's Bar Mitzvah Weekend!

It was so special to be in Oregon for Noam's bar mitzvah! Time in Oregon is always so fun, but this time there was such a buzz of specialness. A bar mitzvah is a really big deal in Judaism, and given the state of the world right now, watching Noam reach this important milestone was so special.
Friday morning, Noam had his last practice for the big day. Since we do not take pictures during shabbat services the photographer took pictures as he ran through everything and then we did formal photos too! Let's just say the crutches were a big hit with the boys too!
We had some fun doing the aunt and uncle photos!
Sunday morning there was a lovely brunch at Avi and Ben's - complete with marzipan bagels! It was so great to spend time with family who we don't get to see very often!
There is just something about a family weekend celebrating a beautiful, amazing life cycle event!
