Madison Park Art --

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Madison Square Park Conservancy art program, they currently have amazing forms draped in tulle by artist Ana MarĂa Hernando. The park's lawn is now home to her umbrella-esque sculptures, covered in tulle and meant to evoke the image of clouds and waterfalls.
Her use of tulle is meant to draw lines to tulle's history in women's fashion and identify. She also hoped the sculptures colors and lightness would add a bit of bounce to the bleak winter cityscape. I personally felt like I was in a Dr. Seuss book with the truffala trees around me!
