Splish Splash

It has been a scorching hot summer! It isn't anything more extreme than usual, but it sure feels like it. The only good way to beat the heat...? Playing in the amazing fountains all over the city!
The fountain in Battery Park is so fun - kids can run through the fountain to cool off with views of the NYC Harbor on one side and views of lower Manhattan's skyscrapers on the other. I also may have seen a few adults jump in to cool off too...

Here's to more temperate days soon!

    I have no doubt that fountains like this, inspired some the "splash pads" now available in parks!

    How fun! We have a (clearly much smaller scale) version around here, and I love seeing kids playing in it when I pass through town! (Especially with all the scorching temps we've had recently!) - Bekah
