I Heart Red!

In honor of Valentine's day, I Heart Faces' theme this week is red. 

I was trying to find a photo with a great splash of red and stumbled upon great picture of my mom.  Red is extra special to me and my mom. She has a heart condition and when she was diagnosed a few years ago, the American Heart Association and the Go Red for Women entered our life.  
There is something about this picture which I love, not only is my mom wearing red, but I love the halo of red leaves around her.  Also, it makes me smile that she is healthy and strong enough to walk around the hilly park with me!
Again not the most artsy picture I have ever taken, but I love my mom's smile and the lines I ended up finding in the picture.

So my Valentine's picture is a picture of love for my mom and her strong heart!

    Aw, love that you incorporated your mom in this week's challenge. Isn't that what photography is all about, capturing what means the most to us? Love the fall leaves and your mom's beautiful smile.

    That is a precious picture and I am sure you treasure this. I lost my mom almost 2 years ago and I am thankful for all the pictures I took of her..
