Scav Hunt Sunday: Buttons and Bananas

Favorite fruit:
Ever since I got sick, this has been the fruit of the hour. Good thing they are 19 cents each at Trader Joe's!

Map:
They should revoke my New Englander membership card for this attempt at a map of New England, which I drew to explain where some states where to my students. One thought my Long Island looked like a hot dog so he added a bun and mustard...

Buttons:
Some of my spare buttons for my various sweaters and pants.

Vision:
I took off my glasses and shot in manual for this. My vision is horrible (been in bifocals for over 1/2 my life...) so this was the best I could manage!

Weights:
A disc weight left laying on the gym floor.

  4. I love 'vision' - how clever! Going to try that...cause I can't see a thing without glasses either. One of the things I love about Monet's water lilies, is that he painted them over and over ... even as he was going blind later in life. So we see what he saw. That's always fascinated me!

  6. Hey, I think the map is pretty good! Love the hot dog though. So funny. I also vision out of focus. I think it is perfect, and ironic.

  9. I really like the vision shot. sometimes soft and blurry is a really great thing. I've been trying to take a good image of a banana without success. I have the same problem with kayaks. Must be the shape. I like the way you solved that. Your student must be gifted. Hot dog and bun-too funny.

  10. Hahaha, sometimes late at night, my vision gets blurry like that and I have to pull out the reading glasses. Still in a bit of denial that I now need reading glasses!

  14. Ha. Love your vision, I've been in glasses since third grade, so I know that blur when I tell peopl how far I can see and then move my hand about 6 inches in front of my face they are all like "whoa".

  21. That banana looked almost good enough to eat. (Yep, bad BAD joke.) I think your map of New England is pretty darn good. I recognized it right away. The bun around Long Island is pretty funny.
