Silver:
After 8 nights and 44 candles there is sometimes more wax than silver left showing on my menorah...Tangled:
My very tangles spider plant, I love how it hangs down off the sill.
Guilty pleasure:
Any nut butter...flavor in the fridge at the moment - almond.
Angel:
...excuse the typos, I was tying quickly and emotional. Since the tragedy in CT and hearing about the #26acts campaign, I have been trying to come up with one to pay forward, but yesterday an angel of a gentleman and his wife gave me the greatest act of kindness, a spot on the airplane to Portland.
Joy:
The joy I felt because of those two amazing people was beyond measure! aka reunited and it feels SO good!

Love tangled, it's so pretty! And I love a stranger's kindness too.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos the last one, almond, silver !!! Those pizzas look so good!
ReplyDeleteHappy Hannukah to you and your family !!!!
Did you pile up the wax on your mennorah - or did it just happen to look like Dr. Seuss' Grinch sitting there between the candle holders? I showed a cake being a guilty pleasure - but your almond butter made me think how I LOVE to eat peanut butter - spoonfuls of it! Happy Holidays!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you made it! Loving your smiles in the last photo. :)
ReplyDeleteHow sweet of the couple to give up their seats. Your last shot is perfect for joy.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots this week. I really like "tangled" and "silver" :)
ReplyDeleteI love patina on your Menorah and the couple who gave up their seat so you could travel is a great story.
ReplyDeleteOh I love your angel story! So many kind people out there! Obviously they didn't have to be anywhere in a hurry and it's so nice you got to get to Portland. Hoping you have a joyous holiday Tamar!
ReplyDeleteHow fabulous that a couple gave up their seats for you! WOW!
ReplyDeleteFrom a personal point of view, silver is my favorite. As a mom, I gotta choose Joy. Great shots. The plant was so awesomely lit.
ReplyDeleteYay for angels. Look at your joy in seeing Noam!! I guess you could keep track of those acts of kindness going in both directions-give and receive. Have a wonderful visit.
ReplyDeleteI spent yesterday cleaning the wax of my menorah. It took forever, and isn't perfect, but I think good enough for next year when it gets coated with wax again.
ReplyDeletethat menorah shot is so fun!!!

ReplyDeleteWhat a generous gift from a stranger!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful images! I know you were thrilled by these wonderful strangers!
ReplyDeleteWell "Angels" come in many forms, how wonderful to be blest by those 2.
ReplyDeleteGreat Tangled, I use to have a Spider plant but now with cats it's not feasible (they eat them).
Have a wonderful, joyous holiday season. Happy New Year!
Hooray for the kindness of strangers. I am totally going to have to try almond butter. I love almonds and I bet it's delicious.
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard to the 26 acts. What is it? That was so nice of that couple. Glad you made it to your destination safely!
ReplyDeleteGreat shots - my favorite is the angel story, though!
ReplyDeleteGreat set! How awesome that you got those airplane seats!
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful kindness! I love the menorah. The wax looks like a little person sitting there. :-)
