Work was crazy busy this week, but I also felt like I was in a good groove. On the homefront I went on a deep cleaning binge. I scrubbed the kitchen down, finally caught up on my ironing, and did some organizing and tidying up. I also whipped up some coconut macaroons for Shabbat dinner and drove down to NY to spend the weekend with mom.
Highlight of the week: Coming home for the long weekend and having a fun early birthday shabbat dinner with friends. Then topping it off, mom surprised me with cupcakes!
Favorite teaching moment: I'm on the tech team at work - we each presented a cool tech tool to help our fellow teachers. I showed everyone the great website Rubistar - and it felt great to be able to help my fellow teachers learn a new assessment tool!
Random-osity: "Fringe" ended this week...I fell in love with the show back when it began 5 years ago and it was sad to see it go...but the finale was beyond well done, so it made parting a bit easier.
