South End

After Friday's greater than expected snow storm, cabin fever struck big time. Emily, Robin, Jenny, and I soaked up the sun on Sunday and had some fun being tourists in the South End.
The South End is an awesome area. Lots of old brownstones with fun accents and tons of character.
The weather was just perfect too, the sun was out and it felt like Spring might actually happen.
We really had a great time, being a bunch of nut jobs taking pics of our own city.
Sometimes, that's all you need on a weekend: a photo walk with your friends, exploring a section of your own city, laughing and soaking up the sun.
Now, I think I need to start playing the lottery so I can move into one of these amazing homes...

  6. Oh beautiful! I love those brownstones. I love them in NYC, too! I love any structure with lots of character which is so lost in design today.

  20. One of these days I am going to hit the south end with a great appetite. I hear the backeries are yummy. We usually go to the North End to hit the Italien restaurants.
