Sox on Sunday

It's nothing new that I am a hard-core Sox fan. The amazing Red Sox games and ceremonies surrounding the Marathon made me even more ready to get to a game! Jenny and I were able to go on Sunday and I was as giddy as a school girl to get there.
I have 2 Flat Stanleys visiting right now, so we decided to take the Premium tour before the game. This got us (and the Flats) on the warning track (I know, right?).
That view never gets old...that field, that skyline, that city!
I'd taken a Fenway tour before, but still learned some new things! I didn't realize that the Green Monster seats were so recent...I soaked up the time sitting in them - they are the hottest ticket in ALL of baseball!
Jenny happen to go to college with the slit walker (I know friends who have friends in high places, hehe). The Flats had fun meeting him!
Then it was finally time for the game! The weather was perfect, sunny, not too warm, but sunny! The energy was just beyond anything I had ever experienced at Fenway, and that is saying something!
The Sox had an amazing game. Great plays, great hits, amazing pitching.
There were some great home runs and lots of moments of excitement!
I have never sat in the outfield here before. It was weird to be away from the infield action, but I loved watching the catches being made in the outfield.
In the end, the Sox won 6-1 with a great diving catch in right field! It was such a fun day and I cannot wait to get to more games!!

  1. This will come as no surprise....love, love LOVE this!!!
The shot of the Citgo from that upper deck is cool. And my son is dying for a 'green monster' seat game too. I've sat all over the park, and there's not a bad seat in the place...haven't been on the tour though! That's a must!

  8. Love these. Where is Ted's red chair??? I was so impressed by that, and patent on Fenway green. The tour was one of my highlights, and because of that and the game I attended, Sox are my fav east coast team!
