Endale Arch

Not far from the entrance into Prospect Park from Grand Army Plaza is the Endale Arch, one of the first architectural structures built in the park 150 years ago. It was designed by Frederick Law Olmstead and designed to blend in as pedestrians made their way to the great meadow.
It was recently restored and it is just gorgeous as it was in the 1860s. Such amazing tones of natural wood, high arches, natural stone, and little alcoves. Such a great gem in another amazing city park.
