Fireworks 2022

The Kensico Dam fireworks are back!! It felt so good to have our traditional fireworks back this year. I hadn't been to the dam in ages for fireworks and it was fun to revisit the tradition. We staked out a spot with some friends and enjoyed the concert before night fell. Then the pyrotechnics began!
It was a great show. A mix of dazzling low ones and beautiful big bursts. The sound reverberating off the dam even set off a few car alarms, oops! I'm so glad that fireworks are back, they are truly a key part of July 4th for me!

    ...I saw the Macy fireworks last night on TV, they had enough for several years.

    Wonderful fireworks display! You have captured them beautifully! Our little display barely lasted 15 minutes, hardly worth the time to get out of the house. Glad you were able to enjoy them!

    A very nice fireworks display. - The Dam seems like a perfect place to set them off.
