I finally had the chance to take class at Peloton Studios NY! I booked in for two 30-minute classes last weekend and it was the most amazing experience. Everything runs so smoothly there and I had a chance to meet some awesome new fellow Peloton-ers and see a bunch of instructors. The new space is jaw droppingly gorgeous, too!
On the first day, I took Kendall Toole's hip hop ride. I am not a huge hip hop fan but the whole experience just mattered more. The music was really great and her vibe is x1000 in the studio and I pushed to a new PR! I was 4th out of 40 on the in studio leaderboard, too! Never going to rank that high again! After class, during the photo opp, I got to chat with her and share a high five and a nice moment. I got to say thank you again to her as she left PSNY which was a sweet moment too. I also had an Alex Toussaint, Hannah Corbin, Anna Greenberg, and Ash Pryor sighting. Ash even gave me a big hug (yes, it's a cult...I admit that!).
On the second day, I took Hannah Corbin's hip hop ride. I may need to dabble in more hip hop classes because I loved both! I had another insanely high, almost PR output and that was on very tired legs. This time I was 7th out of the 40 in studio riders! I managed to get Bike 1 so had many, many on camera appearances in class and had some fun banter with Hannah in the pre-show. After class, during the photo opp, I got to chat with her a bit and have another fun moment. I had way more instructor sightings this day too! I saw Kendall again, Kristin McGee, Kirsten Kerguson (and her adorable daughters), Andy Speer, and the truly amazing moment was meeting Matt Wilpers as he left post-class. He gave me a high five and we chatted a bit. I also met some more people in-real-life finally which was so so great!
Looks like a fun time!
