Sunrise

While we were in Ocean City, I got up early one morning and went to the beach to watch the sunrise over the water. The beach is most peaceful in these early hours before the masses have staked their spot on the sand. Just the water breaking on the sand, the gulls flying and walking in the water, and the quiet.

It was so amazing to stand with my feet in the water looking towards Atlantic City as the blue hour gently turned to golden hour. Suddenly the giant orange sun crested the horizon and made its way into the sky. By that time there were a few other people up early to watch the day begin and we all stood there soaking in the amazing sight!
