Scav Hunt Sunday: Sunlight and Strings

Daylight:
Caught the daylight streaming in through a street lamp in the South End.

Pot of Gold:
Well, a pot of golden tea at a local bakery and tea shop.

Irish:
Nothing more Irish than a trip to Ireland, right?

Clover:
Best I can do considering there was snow on the ground until two days ago...

Lucky:
The red string? In Kabbalah, some people believe that wearing a red string, that comes from a sacred location in Israel, can help ward off the "evil eye" - while it doesn't bring luck per say, it can help absorb negative energy. A spiritual good "luck"charm I guess.

  18. I totally understood the red string before reading it. I think if one is into Madonna or aware of her beliefs, she wears them, too! In my culture (I am Hmong), we do similar things, too! We wore a red string throughout my Grandma's funeral and at the end, we burned it off with for good spirits/luck.

My boyfriend is Irish, hoping one day we'd get to visit. Such beautiful land & culture!
