Song-ography: Blowing Away

The summer wind, came blowin in - from across the sea
It lingered there, so warm and fair - to walk with me
The autumn wind....[will] come...
And still the says, those lonely days - go on and on

This is the last official weekend of summer for me. School begins Wednesday. Summer has come and gone. There is still some summer to be had in New England, but the winds are changing, fall is on the horizon. I am ready.

  4. Totally love how you didn't use a beach photo for this song title! Proves that it can be done...and quite brilliantly too :). Thanks for joining in on Song-ography Tamar!

  12. I love the angle of this photo... so, does Fall come in September or October? I forget. Fall to me is... lovely crunchy leaves, bonfires, and temperatures that allow you to wear a sweater during the day!

  13. Great choice of images for the lyrics - the change of seasons is upon us, even if only mentally. I have been so trained to look at seasons based on school schedules to the point I forget those years between my finishing school and my kids starting school - days when I didn't consider it Autumn until I had to pull out the sweaters - way into September.
