Winnie the Pooh

Believe me if you can, I've finally come
Back to the house at Pooh corner by one...

Back to the ways of Christopher Robin
Back to the days of Pooh...

{Return to Pooh Corner -- Kenny Logins}

The MFA has had some marvelous exhibits as of late.
Their current special exhibit is called "Winnie the Pooh: Exploring a Classic" and it features hundreds of drawing of Winnie the Pooh and crew.

It was just a lovely exhibit. I had a smile on face as I went from drawing to drawing. Reading the story behind how Milne and Shepard brought Pooh, Piglet, Tigger, and friends to life and into the hearts of millions.

The gallery is set up to be immersive, with sweet ways to engage children and adults alike.

With the drawings in town until January, I know I'll be popping in again on future trips, because how can I pass up returning to Pooh Corner!

  5. The MFA exhibits in the Memorial Union are one of the things I miss about working on campus and this is a great theme, who doesn't like Pooh.
    Speaking of poo, hoping to see the Red Sox turned upside down like Eeyore tonight.

  8. I've always loved Winnie the Pooh! There have been recent movies about Christopher Robin and AA Milne recently that paint not such a happy picture of them both, but still, the stories and illustrations will always bring joy to children forever.
