I finally got down to the NYBG for their summer exhibit, Wonderland: Curious Nature. The exhibit transforms the gardens into Alice and Wonderland and showcases gardens like Lewis Carroll had in Oxford, England. It was such a whimsical adventure and so unique! There were larger-than-life mushrooms, an outsized chess board, a shimmering looking-glass, and a giant white rabbit!
They had planned garden beds meant to the Queen's cards and amazing details like hollowed out tree stumps to venture through and roses being painted just like in the book! There were added elements like tea party kiosks and unique flowers that first were cultivated in Victorian England.
So beautiful!! - Bekah
