I Heart Soft and Sweet

I have been pushing myself to capture more candid moments.  Moments that really capture what was happening at the moment versus a staged scene.  Since I don't photograph people as often as I do natural elements it's hard to challenge myself in this area.
I took this picture back in January in Las Vegas.  Sof is a ball of hilarious energy and I was so excited to capture her deeply involved with her play.  She was so engaged playing with these little people and was pretending to be their mom, it was just so sweet.  She had no idea I was snapping pictures and it reminded me of the pure simplicity of being 2 years old and how amazing it is to watch children being balls of energy one moment and so soft and sweet the next.

You are right about how kids could be balls of energy one second then soft and sweet the next. =)

I tend to like to take pics of animals and things rather than people, it is hard to change habits but I am working on it too! You did a great job on this photo. So adorable!

This is one of my favorite pictures so far. I love it when it doesn't look like you had to try too hard or put too much effort in to capture the shot. This is exceptional.
Unposed.
PERFECT : )

Great job capturing her play. I really like your low perspective and the slight crop of her head!

This is such a sweet photo. Capturing candid moments is my favorite kind of photography, but it can be difficult to catch the moment just right. You did a great job!

I love how you interpreted "soft" to be their less-than-rambunctious selves. It's a great shot and I like the crop. Thanks for coming by my blog today!
