A plus...

...to being a teacher is getting paid (okay, not this year, but hopefully beginning next year) to spend my days with kids and getting to cut, glue, and create!
The kids have been making construction paper self-portraits all week and I joined in the fun on Tuesday. It felt so therapeutic to be creating and being able to just chat with my students as they created their portraits as well!

This is so cute! You're so artistic! It even looks like you! That is so great that you've chosen a career that you love. When I got out of college and I was going to work every day as an accountant, I wondered why I didn't become I teacher so I could have summers off. It's good that I didn't though. I didn't have a passion for it. I just wanted summers off!

Thanks for linking up today!

Love it! I have a teaching degree but am still home with my kiddos. Maybe someday... Have a blessed day with your students!

Oh my, I'm impressed with that portrait!

Great job.

My daughter in love is a 6th grade teacher. She loves all the many benefits teachers have.

Lots of hard work too.

Hope your day is blessed!

It is very nice........how lovely to read how much you like your job as a teacher. It's precious as I am used to hear more negative job related things every day. Take care and maybe you should think about framing this portrait!
