Weekend in an Instant

I headed down to NY on Wednesday in search of a/c and to spend some time with Mom. This is the first summer that I have not lived at home, I guess that means I am a real grown-up.
As I got to the train station on Wed. the much anticipated storm rolled through. I had some fun taking pictures of the rain and wind. It was insane, the winds were wicked fast and the temps dropped 30 something degrees!
It was insane to be on the train zooming straight through the storm.  Rain was streaking the windows and lighting bolts were striking all over the place. Crazy. As we were going through CT the sun began to come out again and it was gorgeous scenery, as usual.
Thursday I just puttered around town: gym, dentist (is it sad that I love my dentist?), and other various errands, thrilling, right? On Friday, I visited Beth El, where I worked the past two summers. It was so great to see my old campers and co-workers.
On Saturday afternoon, we took advantage of the amazing weather and went to the PepsiCo gardens, it was great and I got some amazing pictures (come back Thursday!)
Sunday we treated ourselves to massages! Oh my goodness, I so needed that! I now have a membership at Massage Envy so monthly massages for me!!
I finished off my summer Sunday with a much anticipated dip in the pool! One thing I miss not living in NY this summer is the pool right outside our door...

It was a perfect weekend, now I'm back in Boston, but in a week I head west for a much anticipated trip to Portland!!

I'm jealous about the massages. The weather has been crazy around here as well. Nice photos of your weekend.

I still just love the one of the water on the window, the camera phones take the best rain pics don't they?

Oh that rain drop photo is gorgeous. We are in desperate need of some of that rain here. And the pool... looks so refreshing, especially after a day like today when it was 102!

I love NY. I can't seem to get enough of it, either.

Your second image caught my eye, but then so did many others afterwards. I love the window rain shot.

I miss swimming -- but I don't miss wearing a swim suit. Lol. Great shots, Tamar.

It looks like a great weekend...I love all your photos! Are these instagrams? They're beautifully done. When I read "wicked fast" I had to smile...it makes me miss my nephews (Massachusetts). :)

Thank you for sharing!

Looks like a fun visit. I love that rainy shot from the train. Cool POVs on the sculpture too. And a dip in a pool is always to be savored. I miss that too.

These are awesome! Love, love, love the no diving shot and I love all of the Instagram pictures. This morning I saw a pin on Pinterest for Instagram stickers - have you seen them? These shots would be so fun for something like that. Hope you had a great weekend! I am off to follow your blog as I love your work. :)
