Scav Hunt Sunday: Cups and Catchers

School:
I was in Cambridge on Monday and had to walk right through Harvard Yard, the oldest college in America, doesn't get much more academic than that, now does it.

Small:
There is a great toy shop near Harvard Square, they had a whole display of marbles, one small toy.

Rule of thirds:
The rule of thirds with a 1/3 cup. You may roll your eyes at me now.

Motion:
To redeem the corniness of the last pic, I give you my first attempt at light trails! So excited with how this and the rest turned out (come back on Wed!)

Side profile:
Friday, on a whim, got a ticket to Saturday night's Sox game (they lost, shocking, right?). I had great seats, but moved into better seats, and had a great view of Salty's profile, the ump too, but I paid the big bucks for Satly!

Ha! I like the 1/3 cup :)

Tamar,

With rolling eyes, I type you this comment, lol! I love the 1/3 cup in the beginning third of the picture. I will have to show that Red Sox pic to my red-sox-fanatic sister. She will be SO envious of you!

My favorite, though, was the Harvard shot. Sigh! I guess I will always be an academic (certainly not a photographer).

Great collection! Those light trails are interesting and I really like the marbles with the orange background. You might like to contribute to Mandarin Orange Monday too:)

Tamar... your shots are always so amazing. Your RULE of THIRDS is pretty awesome. I love simple. So, do you start teaching soon? substituting? or did you get a contract for the school year?

Those marbles are cool looking. The motion night shot is gorgeous! I have tried to get headlights and I have failed. I need to find the time to get out and get it done.

Awesome lights- I need to still try this. The closest I have come is when I had my shutter open for lightning & my neighbor drove by & into my shot.
