Clouds

I have recently, become really obsessed with photographing the clouds. I had never really looked at the clouds in this sort of artsy way.  But I was inspired to start taking in their fluffy, whispy, and at times threatening beauty.
Post storm clouds that are a mix of calm and angry.
Clouds silhouetted by the recently set sun.
Fluffy clouds on an early fall day.
Low clouds tinted by the setting sun.
Waves of clouds on a weekend morning.
Clouds and a sun flare through a skylight.

Nothing profound, just my new appreciation for the clouds and finding the time to look up and observe rather than walk right under them about my day.

Clouds are fun! On road trips, the kids and I sometimes play a game where we try to name things we could see in clouds.

Thanks a lot for your comment on my "Japanese garden" post, Tamar.

Always good light and interesting cloud formations on your trip around the sun...

Regards from sunny Germany,

Uwe.

YOu know, I truly think the clouds are just a bit more amazing this year! At least, it seems to be that way everytime I look.

You've got some fabulous shots of clouds. The first is my favourite! Love the painterly effect it has.

Having a skylight gives you the opportunity to see the skies at any time of the day. I have a bedroom skylight and I enjoy staring at the night sky before falling asleep.

Isn’t that a sight to behold? Moments like this makes me love and appreciate the skylights in our house even more! Adding skylights around our house was one of the best decisions we made.

When we bought our new house, I really made sure that I was going to have a place where I can look at the sky whenever I want to. And guess what? My dad installed a skylight in two of our four bedrooms! That’s right! I’m really happy because I've got not just one, but two places to hang out whenever I want to have a night under the stars! ;)
