Scav Hunt Sunday: Slater Mill

Good thing I got all these on Monday during our field trip, since I wound up on the couch with pneumonia by Monday night...good news is I am on the mend...so onto the hunt!

Pattern:
An old machine at Slater Mill used to make laces, they had it set up to make a lace with a funky pattern, which you can't see, but I just love this picture...

Stones:
A stone facade on a 200 year old building, so much character.

Machine:
Part of the huge water wheel/turbine. It was moving at a pretty fast clip.

Sign:
Love it.

Sparkle:
I just loved the view from the mill of the sun sparkling on the Pawtucket River.

Oh no...so sorry you have pneumonia. I am impressed you still did SHS. :) And I'm glad you did...I love these pictures. That sign is GREAT...I want one. I would love to see them make lace with that contraption...it is a really cool looking photo. And the sparkle on that water is BEAUTIFUL. Can't wait to see your captures for next week. Feel better!!!!

I can see why you love that first shot. I love the colors of the different threads and it looks like such an interesting machine. :)

Glad to hear you're feeling better. That's tough getting such an intense illness.
The pattern shot I really like and think your take on rocks/stone is very clever. A view thru a window is such a nice way to frame a scene. Hope you continue to mend....and stay dry.

Hope you back to good health soon, Tamar. Good for you putting this together in spite of being so sick. My favourite is the first one with all of the spools of thread. Way cool!
