48 weeks around the sun

Hello, December (which arrived with snow)! Seriously, 4 weeks left? I am in denial, end of the year denial...But denial aside, this was another busy week. Back to school after the nice holiday weekend. Really, it was a usual week, sleep, gym, teach, home, relax, and start all over again. We're moving forward with our learning and I loved a few "aha" moments the kids had. That is what makes it all worth it.  I ended the week by treating myself to some new running shoes.  Saturday I had a fun game night with some friends and then saw "Life of Pi" - drop everything and go see it (in 3D) you will be amazed!! And now, onward!
And the favorite of the month:

I wondered about Life of Pi. I'll put it on the list. I think Hobbit is next! Kids have read it and are excited. Looks like a great week on your end. New shoes are a plus!

Neat gym shoes! Very cool! I don't think I've ever seen a 9-sided die before. Hmmm.

I'll have to catch Life of Pi when it gets here. I'll have to reread the book (which I managed to get Yann Martel to sign during a luncheon, yay!).

My mom has a very similar bracelet. :)

Another great week. I need to get my oldest son to read the Hobbit. I know he would enjoy it. Can't wait for the movie to come out. I really want to see Life of Pi too. Now to find the time!
