25th Recap

Well, 25 got started with one awesome day! I really couldn't have asked for a better birthday and am still smiling when I think back on all the fun things that happened!

I opened some great cards from my family! Those combined with the emails and facebook messages that flooded my inbox, just warmed my heart and made me feel so loved. I also got a tweet from Brian Shactman who works at msnbc: proving how much of a geek I am, ha!
I also woke up to an adorable Noam video, nothing beats the Goober saying "happy budday mar mar" to get your year off on the right foot!
Work was beyond adorable. The kids were more excited for my birthday than I was! I got hugs and cards all day long! I brought in cookies for snack which they loved, too. They then "tricked" me out of the room at the end of the day. When I was "allowed" back in, they surprised me with a birthday banner and cards and little trinkets some of them has made. Honestly, best thing ever!
Since it was (no joke) -10 with the windchill, I came right home after work and relaxed all evening long. A huge bouquet of balloons were waiting me from mom, Avi, Ben, and Noam - so fun!
I whipped up my cake and made a cupcake to enjoy that night, had to make my wish on my actual b-day! Nothing beats a poppy seed cupcake with some honey on top!
On Friday, I came home to a lovely bouquet of flowers from my uncle, aunt, and cousins! So pretty in this cold white season! Friday night I had some friends over for my traditional b-day chili and poppy seed cake. It was super fun to hang out with friends and just enjoy life!

So far 25 agrees with me, I think I'll keep it!

Also, thank you my awesome blog peeps for your amazingly sweet comments on my birthday post!

Oh, so glad to know that you had a wonderful birthday!! :) A quarter of a century young... wise enough, but still young enough to have all kinds of fun without worrying about having to worry about "acting your age." A just-right age. =)

Tamar! Wow! Your birthday was a shower of love to you. I am so glad.

Ya, that sweater is really fun. I wear it way to much. $3 at Maurices can't be beat.

Hoping you have a great time with your awesome students!
