So, this week was a real dose of back to reality! First 5 day week of 2013 and it felt like it!
Sunday kicked off on a special note, by helping to welcome my friends' new son into the community - he is a cutie! It was kind of surreal to have photographed his parents a month ago and now see him on the outside!
The rest of the week's shots were an accidental theme. Monday I took a picture of my outfit since I was a bit unsure of how it looked. After I posted it to instagram and got such awesome love the idea of an outfit a day, well stuck that I did an "outfit of the day" shot each day. It actually helped me feel good about how I looked all seeing myself in a picture (fancy that, right) and having such support from my insta-pals.
I polished off a hectic week with a rocking dinner at my new favorite sushi house with a grad school pal. Nothing beats, catching up with a friend!

Highlight of the week: (not afraid to be shallow here) - going to have to say it was Downton Abbey coming back! Super excited for the season.
Favorite teaching moment: jumping into my class' soccer game in gym and having a fun care free time with the kids (not to mention impressing them with my soccer skills!)
Random-osity: I get out of work 2 hours earlier on Friday then the rest of the week. I always come home with a list of things to do, but inevitably wind up sitting on the couch and then not moving for an hour... (random, I know...)
Your turn and all the details:
- Post 1 photo or an many as you like each week on Monday.
- The button or text link should be present in your post - but not absolutely necessary.
- Please visit some other blogs & leave some love & encouragement.
- Submit the URL of your blog post - not your home page.
Can't wait to see all your photos each week as we venture through 2012!

Sweet baby. Love all the outfits too.
Rockin' the locker room mirrors I see. Lucky you caught no one fresh from the show-show wrapped in a little bit too little towel in the background.
I used to "play" with my students too. They love it and it helps find a different way to relate to them and them to you....but don't forget to take some time for yourself during the day. The longer you teach, the more you need it. Have a great day.
so sweet! :)
awwww so precious!
I enjoyed your outfit of the day posts last week. You looked cute all week!
love the post about the bris - such sweetness!
silly question - do you change your shoes before you go outside? my feet are cold thinking of wearing flats in the chilly MA air.
Well you know that I like purple so of course I think your outfit rocks!!

Well how did I miss your outfit of the day last week, hmmm? (and shucks)
Also, I linked up but it's not showing up for some reason, tried again and it said that it was already linked up???
Delicious self-portraits, beautifully tiled.
You are adorable! Glad you had a good week and were able to catch up with a friend.
Love that little bundle of sweetness! And I love your outfit of the day pics!
Tamar, you are so funny! Ok, a Baby is always a great way to begin a post. And ... look at this meme of yours. TREMENDOUS turn out. You go and run with it, girl! Oh yes is it so cold where I live. help......
So cute -- your outfits and the baby! Thank you for hosting this new link party. What fun!
What a sweet baby! I miss my kids being that little. You're so cute with your outfits. Love them all. Purple tops with jeans is one of my all time favorites--can't go wrong there.
