Scav Hunt Sunday: Pesach Edition

Water:
Salt water for the karpas portion of the seder. I over salted this bowl, see the salt at the bottom?

Fresh:
We picked up some pretty fresh flowers for the seder table, also (!) two in one, the fresh celery and parsley in the background.

Empty:
Empty wine cups, eventually to be filled 4 times for the four cups we drink during the seder.

Weathered:
This is the haggadah that I made in 3rd grade. It's lived through many a seder now and while hanging in there it is a bit weathered.

Ordinary:
Matzah is meant to be poor man's bread - nothing more ordinary than that.

You might want to consider heading to your local office or teacher supply store and have that seder laminated.

How did you get round matzah?

My favorite of yours this week is the one of the wine glasses.

Nice pics - and we have bread that looks very similar to matzah in Sweden that we eat all year around. :-)

Have a blessed celebration.

I always look forward to your "holiday" posts to learn more about your customs.
4 glasses of wine?? I wouldn't be able to sit up straight after that!

Hey Tamar. Beautiful holiday set today. Love that 2 fer fresh image. such a pretty table setting.
I plan to fill my glass at least 4 times today too. Can you say "sugar buzz"? 4 glasses of red wine (well small ones) should mellow the "Aunt" as the 4 and 6 year old buzz around. Hope you have a lovely day with the fam....and Noam.

Wonderful set. It is very interesting learning about your beliefs. I found the "ordinary" shot of the Matzah bread to be quite fascinating. I also thought your "Fresh" shot of the table scape was lovely.
Enjoy your day.
