Scav Hunt Sunday: Bark and Breakfast

Texture:
Funky bark on the tree outside of school.

Vacation:
Three weeks of school left until summer vacation (well 4 full weeks for teachers) and clearly my brain is very, very ready.

Food:
Friday's breakfast: homemade oatmeal with half a banana and a spoonful of peanut butter, plus some vanilla and cinnamon for good measure.

Sound:
This coming week the third graders take their standardized testing. It will be a very silent week in the classroom, a far cry from usual!

Anything:
I promise, this was an accidental shot (that was then instagrammed). I was flipping through my phone's camera roll and saw there was a picture of my in the reflection of my ipad!

School's almost done - great news. These weeks will fly by and you'll be free. Love your last picture - you couldn't have staged it any better if you tried.

Great shots. I eat homemade oatmeal all the time but never thought to put peanut butter in there. Great idea.

Ah the end of the school year. Coleen has until June 13th but it's coming fast.

I liked your Texture shot of the tree bark and also thought the Sound shot was very interesting. I remember those tests.

Standardized tests. Yuck. I totally wonder what purpose they really serve. You know your students best.
