Scav Hunt Sunday: Cacti and Crafts

Totally pulled this together last minute! But here goes:

Effort:
I imagine it takes desert plants a great deal of effort to survive.

Fun:
Ever see how a pineapple grows? Quite fun, no?

Messy:
This picture had a great appeal to me before I took it - now it just looks messy.

Arts and Crafts:
Some of the awesome art work the various classes made this year - it was displayed at graduation on Monday night.

Blessing:
Not traditional, but part of the card I gave each of my kids on the last day - my blessing for a fun summer and start to 4th grade!

Today I am off to do the unveiling for my grandparents, a long day ahead in the car driving to NJ. I'll visit ya'll later!

I can not tell you how many times I take a picture and see something awesome, but when I pull it up on the monitor later - blah! Messy would be putting it kindly. Love the artwork and sweet card for your students.

Love your prickly pears, and I am sure it is a lot of work for plants to grow in the desert!

I have never seen a pineapple growing, so I loved that shot too! Enjoy your vacation!

Last minute or not, you've put together a great collection for the scavenger hunt. I love seeing that pineapple. I've tried starting them, but I never seem to have any luck.
