Scav Hunt Sunday: Recipes and Rain

Water:
We've been in a wet pattern here, as in over 8 inches of rain so far this month. Yep - water, water, everywhere!

Summer:
I had my first corn on the cob of the season this week. Summer has arrived!

Dance:
I was a dancer for many, many years. Two pointe shoes hang on my wall. One signed by Patricia McBride and one signed by my fellow dancers during my last performance cycle.

Helper:
Cookbooks are perfect for those nights when I need some help getting inspired in the kitchen.

Laughter:
Took a walk this weekend - loved the laughter I heard coming from the playground.

yes, corn always gets me ready for the summer! nothing like a good, buttery corn on the cob for a summer bbq

Such great finds this week. I wish we had a little bit of rain here. And that corn looks so yummy.. I haven't had any yet this summer.

Hugs~

I like your interpretations this week Tamar.

Great job capturing the water droplets. No sweet corn here, but that is a wonderful sign of summer.

I like that blurred playground shot. Once I got in trouble for shooting pics of kids on swings at a playground. They were taking my license plate # and ready to contact the cops. Egad.
C or the C. Nice.
Happy weekend-yah, and whoever said "but we need the rain", needs to shut up.

Love the water shot! I like its simplicity.
My mouth is watering at that corn. Nothing better than a sweet cob of corn with butter.
Very cool that you were a dancer. I like that you chose to present the shoes in B&W.
Nice spot focus in laughter and a unique interpretation of the prompt.
Lovely shots!

Love the water and dance shots.

We also had corn on the cob last month but there was no taste to it. Hope yours was better. I also hope you don't get eaten alive by mosquitoes from the water.

Wait wait wait wait...

I saw the signature on that pointe shoe before I read your description. You have a shoe from THE Patricia McBride?!?! That is screamingly awesome! :)

Former dancer here too... where are the pics of you dancing? :)
