P52: Week 33 around the sun

This was my last full week of summer vacation! Where did the time go?

I actually went into school 4 days this week for a few hours. Gave me time to organize and just feel like I've got a handle on everything. I went slightly OCD and organized all my markers by color and then sharpened every pencil in a 2 mile radius. Bring it on school year!

Outside of school, I started a UFX class at the gym. It's insanity and I'm loving it. It's fun to find new ways to push myself and try insane things. Yes, I am insane, and I know it.

This week, the moon was just so gorgeous! I took some pics each night and I could totally tell it was changing. Amazing. The Jewish calendar is lunar based, and Rosh Hashanah is now less then a month away. This sliver of a moon was a huge reminder of that!

Highlight of the week: Getting my tush saved by Apple Care! I cracked my phone screen (NOT the highlight) but, was able to get it replaced - get Apple Care - SO worth it!

Favorite teaching moment: Getting all my supplies organized and everything laminated - the little details make the room!

Random-osity: On the topic of broken iphones...the screen really is glass and when you use a broken screen you will pull glass shards from your fingers...you've been warned.
Also! I'm working on growing the blog's facebook page - won't you please join me over there as well? I post a sampling of the random things around me and would love to connect there (here) too!

And I am on bloglovin' here! Plus the various other social media sites, see the links at the top right of the page!

Getting the classroom ready was always one of my favorite things to do! So fun to see everything crisp and clean before it takes on the equally beautiful look of being used. Hope you have a great last week. The moon is beautiful. I love this time of year when everything gets cozy and meaningful.

You know, I am HORRIBLE at moon shots! Not sure what I'm doing wrong, but I totally need to work on that. Yours are downright gorgeous.

Love the moon! I can never get decent shots!

My iPhone screen cracked yesterday. No warranty, no AppleCare :( So I get to live with a cracked screen til February (then I'm getting the iPhone 5).

I love that you sharpened every pencil you could find! You are such a great teacher.

I don't know what that kind of class is at the gym. I will google it.
