P52: Week 34 around the sun

Well, after one last Sunday Funday with Jenny and Emily downtown, my summer is officially over, professionally speaking. Teachers didn't officially have to be back until Wednesday, but I reset the alarm for bright and early (not so bright really) on Monday.

I am slowly readjusting to 5am. There have been some hilarious 5am scenes this week: walked into the wall and not the door way on Monday and then I tried to answer my phone when the alarm went off on Friday...oops!

Wednesday to Friday we had lots of trainings and meetings to help prepare for the year. My poor brain went into overdrive and I made good use of the post-it notes they provided! I have lists to make more lists!! But I am ready(ish)!!

I can't believe that it's the end of summer, how did that happen!?

Highlight of the week: It felt so great to be back (officially) at KSA, seeing the rest of the staff, and realize that a year ago, I hadn't even been hired yet! Amazing.

Favorite teaching moment: Seeing my room come together more and more and having some good trainings that I am hoping to be able to carry over into my class this year.

Random-osity: I had a doctors appointment this week - my bp and was nice and low and I joked with the nurse that she should take it in a month after school is underway!
Also! I'm working on growing the blog's facebook page - won't you please join me over there as well? I post a sampling of the random things around me and would love to connect there (here) too!

And I am on bloglovin' here! Plus the various other social media sites, see the links at the top right of the page!

Love your 5 AM sillies! I'm impressed by your efforts though. I feel sorry for myself waking at 6:30. *blush* Gonna be a great start this week!

Sorry to hear you walked into the wall, but I did laugh a bit. I know, slap stick gets me EVERY TIME!

The start of the school year is always an exciting time for me --when I was a student myself... and now as a mom. :)

Ugh! 5:00 am...we get up at 5:15 because our high school student has a scripture study class before school at 6:00. I don't think I will ever get used to it. Although I have missed being up early enough for Morning Joe while I'm on the treadmill! :)
