Ronan's debut

Sunday was this little guy's big day (well, first big day). Ronan was officially welcomed into the world at his brit milah. It was a lovely morning celebrating his entrance into the world!
The moyel did his part of the ceremony, Ronan took what comfort he could in the wine soaked clothe.
Then Avi and Ben officially gave him his name. It was a lovely d'var with so many special reasons behind his name. It was emotional at times, since Roo's middle name is for my grandfather, who we miss so dearly!

After we noshed and visited with the friends and family who came to meet the little guy. Of course, there was time for some family photos!
 The aunts and uncle.
The mommy, daddy, and mar mar.
and of course, the grandparents!
This little charmer is a beyond excellent big brother and suddenly is looking very grown up!

Getting a new sibling does seem to make the older one look so much older, huh? Oh, darling photos and I can so tell you are a very pleased Auntie! (hug)

Congratulations on your new nephew! I'm pretty sure the only brit milah I've ever been to was my younger brother's. Although since I'm only a little over 2 years older than him, I don't quite remember it. I guess eventually I'll be at my second one though!
