Apple Chia Butter

Days before my apple picking expedition, I started thinking about what to make with my apples...
I've made apple sauce, and didn't want to tempt my will power with a pie or a crisp, and decided to be daring and try something new.
So naturally, attempting apple butter was the logical next step! I spent the morning we went apple picking at the gym surfing pinterest looking at a variety of recipes and my mind was made up!
But you may ask... What's the difference between apple butter and apple sauce? Apple butter gets cooked low and slow for a very long time. It makes your house smell amazing and it's just apples in amazing form!
*play with this - I don't think there is a way to go wrong!

I have never tried Chia seeds. This looses like a great way to use up your apples.

When I was a little girl my Grandma used to make this every fall. I agree about how wonderful it makes your house smell. Divine.
