A&B: Snowy Engagement Shoot

I had an engagement photo shoot last weekend. A friend referred her friends, who had just gotten engaged, to me. We booked the shoot, knowing that in Boston we ran the risk of sub-zero temps and snow. We got both...but kept the date anyway.

I was anxious about shooting people in the snow and was grateful for the cloud cover. And I love how they turned out!! They were super great to work with and we got some great shots before we lost feeling in our hands and feet.

Here is a small sampling of the images I presented them with!
I am going to be taking the pictures on their wedding day too (small ceremony for family and friends), in August, at the beach. We kept joking that we'll likely be sweltering then and thinking of the snow to cool us off!

Congrats to the couple!

These are great! Brave of them to do their shoot in the snow! She has a wonderful smile - and I love the hand in hand on the path shot!

These are quite lovely. They look comfortable despite the temperature and you did very good with no blowing out the white snow. Here's to hoping that the beach shoot has a nice ocean breeze and the temperatures are in your favor (seems mother nature owes you one).

I love these - especially how they highlight the friendship aspect of romance. In my opinion, that's what makes a good marriage!

Wonderful job! I like the black and white as well as the color shots. You clearly captured their love for each other. It will be fun to see the beach photos as a contrast. Fun memories!
