The Good. The Random. The Fun. v. 30

The Good:
I hit up the farmer's market this week and found all the ingredients (except for the lime) to make a batch of gazpacho. It tastes better knowing the ingredients were all grown locally!

The Random:
I have a serious love for ketchup. I will put it on most food items. I have even tried apples and even bamba (Israeli peanut butter style "cheetos") in ketchup. So needless to say, I needed to have this shirt.

The Fun:
Jenny and I went to see "Wish I Was Here" - amazing. Go. See. It. Such a wonderful, sweet movie. I've always loved Zach Braff and he did an amazing job with this film. I laughed, I cried, I laughed. Highly recommend.

Also! This is my 1000th post. Insane. Just a week over five years of blogging and I hit the 1000 post milestone here. Now that my friends is a lot of good, random, fun! Here's to another 1000 posts!

You and my son think alike when it comes to condiments - he is firmly of the opinion that you can't have too much ketchup. Fresh vegetables makes just about anything and everything better.

Hah - I used to put ketchup on everything (!), not anymore, though I still love it. We also just had Gazpacho and you are right, it is better with local ingredients.
Have a great week!

p.s. I linked up, but not sure my post qualifies

We were just saying how we hadn't heard much about any good movies lately - nice to get a recommendation! And I really want to find a good local farmer's market...on the "when I get back from Oregon list!"

Hi Tamar!
1. We have two free movie tickets. Maybe will check out that movie!
2. 1000 Yays for you-know-what!
3. I like Ketchup, but I used to put butter on my fudge. And the fudge was really just the vehicle for the butter. Dairy-free now, but I suppose I Could put Smart Balance on fudge. Except fudge has butter in it. Crud balls.

Locally grown veggies are the best! Love the t-shirt. My son's would have to say "I like a little food with my condiments." :) Congrats on the 1000 posts!
