Finding Neverland

A few weeks ago, my friend Amanda told me that a musical version of the film "Finding Neverland" was testing up in Cambridge, ahead of a possible Broadway debut. I loved that movie and jumped at the chance to see it while it tested here. So we had a girls night out last week and saw it.
It felt good to get all dressed up, because let's face it, summer has meant gym clothes and lots of shorts and t's.
We had a lovely dinner out before the show, good food, good wine, great restaurant, and then drinks after the show - summer living, folks!
The show was amazing. They did a great job of bringing the movie to the musical stage and since it's still in testing we were all chatting about what may get cut if it makes it to the Great White Way. But overall, such a strong show. The four boys were marvelous and so adorable!
Even cooler was that the choreographer was Mia Michaels (of So You Think You Can Dance fame), she was sitting in the house, a few rows behind us! She did a great job, the choreo was amazing.

I really hope this makes it to Broadway - it was so great, great songs, great actings, just gorgeous!
