The Good. The Random. The Fun. v. 31

The Good:
We have had an insane weather summer in Boston. It's been relatively calm and not too hot/humid. But we've had insane storms every week or so. This Monday, we had bad storms. 4 inches of rain in an hour, thunder, lightning, and even an EF2 tornado 20 minutes north of the city.
That night though, the skies had cleared, and we had an insane sunset. The good after the wet and insane.
And once through waterlogue, because that's what the day was like.

The Random:
I saw this walking in Brookline over the weekend. Cheap sidewalk, if only I had the room in my apartment and cement went with my style theme!

The Fun:
Amanda and I got together to make things for our classrooms. I made my color coded behavior charts (2 b/c I teach two sections of 3rd grade). Making me excited for things to get started!

It is good to hear that Boston is experiencing less humidity this summer - beware, however, we will be in that neck of the woods the week of Aug. 25th - so I'm sure it will be the usual 90 degrees with 90% humidity (cause that is how I roll!).
So exciting with your new job starting shortly - like the color code.

I love a good thunderstorm, never get any over here! Those behaviour charts are a really good idea!

Yikes, that weather does sound scary. While I like a good thunderstorm, tornados can stay far away. So exciting to see you getting ready for your new school!

funny about the sidewalk sale. whenever I see a sign for a kids sale or a baby sale I think about the other meaning - they are selling kids!

Storms BE GONE! At least I'm hoping so for when I get to Boston at the end of the week :)

We have had crazy weather this summer too. We usually have afternoon storms, but this summer they have been bigger than ever. Love the sidewalk sale too! :)

Weird, every time I copy my collage it turns out black. oh well. pink still shows up.

I love the sales signs that say "women's tops half off".. ooooooh.

So glad you got your job so quickly and that you are excited. I'll be super excited when school starts cuz chemo will be OUTAHERE, too!!!

We've had some crazy weather this summer too. It's been kind of cool which I'm loving! I'm nervous for a hot September though.

Were they really selling pieces of the sidewalk?

How exciting about school starting. I don't want to think about it yet, still in summer mode but both of my girls start in August.

I'm so behind on commenting!! Too much vacation fun! I love the waterlogue version of our stormy weather...so pretty! And I'm excited you're starting to get prepped for the new year. I'd love to connect for {at least!} a lunch or brunch before you go back!
