The Good. The Random. The Fun. v. 42

The Good:
Before Avi and the boys left we went down to the Make Way for Ducklings statues. The boys loved playing on them!

The Random:
We studied a variety of maps this week to learn how maps can have a variety of purposes. I found this note on one of the maps. I laughed so hard. I know this note was meant to come on the snacks he brought in for sukkah hopping, but I got a good chuckle!

The Fun:
We only had 2.5 days of school last week because of the last of the fall holidays. It was also the intermediate days of Sukkot, so we were encouraged to do fun activities with the kids, a perfect reason to do fun (yet educational) math games!

The boys are so cute and getting so big! Looks like a fun time. I'm sending my kids to your math class! We might need to pull out the tangrams this week.

I'm so happy you had the boys there with you to experience fall in the NE - loving those math games too.

I didn't realize how big the duck statues are! Looks like a great visit with the family. Last week was a short week for us too but this weekend really made up for it. Phew!

Love "your" little guys with "our" ducks! So cute! And I love that, with a shorter week, your school opted for "fun learning" rather than try to fit extra into a shorter time!

Love those boys on the ducks, their facial expression are priceless. Sounds like a good week with your students.

Love the pictures of the boys on the ducklings. School is looking like a blast. It's cool to be learning about maps and great to have so many fun math games to try out.

I'm so glad that learning math is so much fun these days vs the linear / rote learning years ago!
