We gave had some single digit temps here in Maine but I'll take a double digit day any time. I think I need to get out some flannel-lined jeans. I hope you are having a great week with your students.

We had a crazy snow squall come in last night with white out conditions. It lasted about a half hour and then it was over leaving not a trace of snow this morning...when the temperature was a lovely -1 with a wind chill of -19!

oh yea, Mother Nature's mood swings. We experience that here and more often than not it swings in 40 degree increments.

The same in the Texas Hill Country...from 65 one day to last night's 20 degrees. But not so bad as other areas north.

Nine degrees this morning. Husband drives a school bus. Fortunately, the brakes decided to fail in the parking lot of his first school. Mechanics pulled a big chunk of ice out of the brake line.

So true so true!! "Shame" on me for not making it outside when we had the warmer temps over the weekend. Stopped at the pond today - just to gaze. Never seen the parking lot so empty. Just me and about a dozen seagulls!

Our weather is being very back and forth as well. I would love a bit of snow to accompany this cold, but whenever its cold, there is no precip! Stay warm today!

I wish our weather would change here, it's been cold too long. Doesn't 50 seem like a heat wave!

There's a saying in the NC mountains that if you aren't happy with the weather wait 15 minutes and it will change...seems to apply everywhere these days....

I hear ya...I think most of us can safely say that at this point with this crazy weather. I know it does that here in Texas all the time, our temp differences are quite large though at times. Was in the 70's and then dropped to the low thirties. Now we've had a hard freeze on the coast. Of course North West Texas panhandle has had snow for a while.

I'm just ready to see some sunshine again. But, I would take a snowflake for a delay in that right now. haha

Oh the joys of Winter in the NW. Such a fickle one, that Mother Nature.
