The Good. The Random. The Fun. v. 13

The Good:
I got to have dinner with two blog friends! Adrienne and I have met up in town before, but Nicki was in town visiting her daughter (we also joined us!) and we all had a nice time chatting together.

The Random:
It snowed again over the weekend...10th weekend in a row. Thankfully it barely stuck, but was heavy most of the day. At least it's pretty?

The Fun:
A Maimo tradition: Pillo-Polo. A floor hockey + lacrosse + broom ball hybrid. Starting in January, the 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders are made into teams and compete against the other grade level teams. Then in March, a bracket style playoff system. Monday, the 3rd grade champion team took on the 4th grade champion team and won! Sadly, the big bad 5th graders were too tough to top and 3rd grade took 2nd place! This week, the teachers take on the 5th graders (we better win or we'll never hear the end of it!)

I am so happy and appreciative that you and Adrienne were so flexible in working out our meet-up - it was truly one of the highlights of my visit (this nasty virus - not so much). Great food, Great company, Great fun!
It was snowing on my way to the airport on Saturday morning and was pretty (but then I wasn't sticking around to deal with it). What's more, how crazy is it that it was actually colder when I got home than it was in Boston. Now that is messed up.

It was a pleasure and treat to finally meet you in person. Thanks!

PS - good luck with those 5th graders. :)

So cool that you got to meet up - now if you and Adrienne ever come to OR at the same time we can meet up! Or I guess I could go to Boston...

hey Tamar!
I've linked, I've seen and giggled at your fun students. Glad you met real life blogging buddies. and sorry about MORE snow. ♥

(btw, commented via 'simple sequins'. still need to get that glitch fixed. should be saying: 'renae's repertoire' and not via google account)

That does sound like a fun meet up. I am glad the snow was pretty and that it did not stick. That is the best kind-the kind you don't have to shovel.

That game sure does sound like fun! I hope you will tell us if you win or the fifth graders win.
