The Good. The Random. The Fun. v. 2.10

The Good:
Purim was this week, which meant it was hamantashen baking time! My batch this year came out perfectly, if I may toot my own horn!

The Random:
Walked into Whole Foods, walked past this, stopped in my tracks and laughed. Um. What?

The Fun:
Purim means Morry's PPT (pixelated purim torah) presentation. A mix of torah, purim, and insane randomness. Some of this year's highlights...

Coconut water direct from the fruit (nut?)! Yum.

Great marketing idea! Until you try to get a hole through the nut to get your water. :)

Your baked goods look tasty and you are using my favorite jam. I love the jars and use them as my preferred drinking glass.

Coconut water? It looks like they are providing a straw, but wonder how you get a hole in it for the straw. Instructions enclosed?

Total fan of Bonne Maman - And those cookies you make look amazing...gluten free, I imagine? Have you ever posted the recipe? And...my husband has taken to buying 2-3 coconuts a week. There's a hammer and a camping knife residing in my kitchen now so that he can crack the things open for the milk and scoop out the "meat" for snacking purposes!!

it´s funny how everybody thinks that coconut water is funny!!! around here that is as common as regular water... specially at the beach! Ohm and you don´t have to drill a whole in the fruit... it has a natural one at the top!
And yes your baking looks sooo good!!!!

I love the coconuts! Reminds me of Thailand with stalls everywhere selling a coconut drink in the shell, expect theirs are green and young. I'm not quite sure how you start drinking the ones you found.

I giggled at the coconuts and straws but have to say they wouldn't have enticed me in the least. We tried water straight from the coconut in Key West and both of us HATED it. we're not good health food people. Fail.

Cute! I suppose this shows one of the few ways to get pure coconut water. The packaged versions contain all sorts of additives, some of which have been shown to be unhealthful.

Your baked goods look delicious...I hope they give you a way to drink the coconut water, it's almost impossible to break thru that shell!! Have fun this week!!

How on earth are you supposed to get the straw in the coconut?
