Orchid Show

Avi, Ronan, and our cousin Yona and I all headed to the NY Botanical Garden Orchid Show on Monday. It was a  stunning show, with some amazing orchid varieties.
Ronan was a hoot running through the conservatory. He slowed down, occasionally, to attempt and smell the orchids. It also was a gorgeous early April day, with abundant sunshine, perfect for a morning with the flowers.

What a beautiful display of flowers, I think the solid white with the purple center might be my favorite. I'm surprised Ronan slows down at all - he looks like he could give the Energizer Bunny a run for its money.

I've never tried to grow an orchid, but these are certainly beautiful. Such a delicate flower. Some people really love them and grow lots.

Beautiful. Just love orchids. They remind me of Asia. :)

Beautiful - orchids are such interesting plants. And like Kim said above, they remind me of Thailand.
